  1. abbreviated version of merge variables following detailed

    Trimble asks for a abbreviated version of merge variables. Their use case - their Customer is Regiomnal Municipality of York which they mention in likely page 1 of RFP but thereafter in legal style would refer to them as "the Region". Trimble would like to be able to set that in one place and not have to go in and do so manually as they do currently. A minor friction but doing so enough all adds up!!

  2. Do Not Replace Merge Variable with Actual Value when using GenAi

    Customer has flagged that when using GenAI, merge variables are replaced with actual value. As per JIRA PLAT-31914, this was a product decision made to replace merge variable with actual value when using genAI. Customer is concerned and would like to request that this be updated to keep merge variables as merge variables. When suggesting to library etc, it increases possibility of human error and possible compliance issues as customer names may be inadvertently added to the library.
